lilies are a bulb plant the come back every spring. they multiply every year. if you leave the foliage even after the lilies flowers die it feeds the bulbs and make them multiply even more. these bulbs have been coming back for 5 years that's hard to believe

these lilies were planted five years ago. i try to take pictures of lily every year when they bloom. she has grown so much
