We found four snakes in the old building. This is the biggest one. There was also a corn snake and a garter snake. EEEEEKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Renovation project

Doyle and I are tearing down an old outbuilding in our backyard. We are going to build a garage for Doyle's car and yard tools.

Our birdfeeders

The bird on the feeder is a female finch. The male finch has a reddish head and breast. We also have goldfinches,but the fly away when we come outside. We also have an occasional hummingbird.

Avis' hat

Doesn't Avis look lovely in a hat. Let's start wearing hats and start a new fashion trend. Want to?

Salsa Dancing

Moss roses

These are moss roses. They bloom during the day and close in the afternoon. The neat thing is we planted these last year. They went to seed and came back this summer. That was a very pleasant surprise!
